Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice

I just love fall in New England! it's my absolute favorite season. Hoodies, cider donuts, going to the pumpkin patch.   Everywhere you look, there's pumpkin spice flavored versions of everything. Pumpkin Pie Spice is a super easy thing to make at home, it's just a few ingredients and a couple minutes to put it together.

This recipe from Mary D. and Taste of Home is perfect!  I keep whole versions of cloves, sliced dried ginger, and nutmug on hand and grate them as needed.  Uses for pumpkin pie spice are endless now.  You can add some to your coffee grounds before brewing.  Add it to your glaze when you're icing cookies.  Make some spiced nuts or marshmallow cereal treats.  Of course, it's great for pumpkin pie too!

On Tuesdays, I like to share what my fellow Volunteer Field Editors are making.  This week, Angela made Pumpkin Cake Roll, which is on my to-do list of things to master in 2019.  Do you have an amazing recipe you'd like to submit to Taste of Home? Follow this link and learn how! Want to apply to be a Volunteer Field Editor?  Check out the requirements and apply here.

To celebrate #TasteofHomeTuesday this week, I'm giving away a copy of Taste of Home's Pumpkin Cookbook bookazine! It's packed with 120 awesome recipes, like Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice, Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake, and Taco Pumpkin Seeds.  Be sure to enter for your chance to win below!
