Pickled Jalapenos
Every time we get our sandwiches/pizzas from outside, we love to have the jalapenos by the side to take a bite with every other bite of sandwiches. We love it that way rather than spreading it inside the sandwiches. Having married to a pickle lover, we always have stock of the indian pickles in the fridge. Now to add to it we have pickled jalapenos too that goes on top of pizzas every time we make it. Unlike Indian pickles, these pickled jalapenos are super easy to make too.
If you too are a pickle fan and would love to have it with your sandwiches and as toppings on your pizza, make it at home. Trust me, you would never go back to the store bought ones.

Ingredients
- 12 jalapenos , washed and stem cut off or removed
- 2 cloves of garlic , peeled and crushed slightly
- 3/4 cup of white vinegar
- 3/4 cup of drinking water
- 3 tsp of kosher salt
- 3 tbsp of sugar
- Slice the jalapenos into disc shape.
- In a sauce pan, take the vinegar, water, garlic, salt and sugar. Heat it.
- Keep stirring and let it come to a boil. Add the jalapenos and let it soak or immerse in the hot liquid.
- Remove from the stove and let it sit for about 12-15 minutes.
- Let it cool completely. Remove it into a mason jar and store it in the refrigerator. Use it as sides for your salads or over your pizza or any other form.
- Using a dry spoon to serve the pickle would help avoid pickle from turning bad.
