Panakam Granita & A Product Review
Who doesn't like surprises? From kids to adults, the response to surprises have always been excitement, overjoyed, shocked etc. The same was my reaction when I got this goodie bag from Paper boat. And this time it was altogether a new flavour that came in the package. It was Panakam by Paper Boat.
This Panakam drink was real yumm, with all the flavours of cardamom, dry ginger and lots of jaggery. Just that we thought it was a tad bit sweet. But its just the way my family is. We like sweet but not too sweet. Other than, chilling, shaking and sipping it straight away from the package, I thought of making some granita to just slurp on them. It was a wonderful idea to have it as granita in this hot summer.
Ingredients
Last year, this time I was addicted to their Aam Panna. This year they have added onto the number of addictive flavour. And this one was a limited edition Sri Rama Navami special. And I got lucky to have it delivered to me. Paper boat is known for capturing long forgotten and nostalgic memories from the childhood in the form of drinks. I guess they are doing a good job, so far.

Ingredients
- Any flavoured drink or juice
- In a wide container, pour the juice/drink just 1 - 1 1/2 cms thick. Chill it in the refrigerator for about 6-7 hours.
- Take it out from the refrigerator. You would be able to scrape it using a fork.
- Transfer it into a bowl or glass of your choice. Use a spoon to scoop out and enjoy or use a straw to slurp over them.
- While chilling, the drink should be forming a layer of not more than 1 1/2 cms in the container. Only then can you scrap it out as sheets of ice. You wouldn't want chunks of ice in your granita.
- Serve it immediate as they would melt fast.
